This process was to be done <strong>under condition of heat<\/strong>, so that the material could be deformed without the risk of cracking or brittleness.<\/p>\n<p>The complexity lay in the need to <strong>automatically handle 25 preformed parts per minute<\/strong>, keeping them oriented in the heating phase so they could be picked up &#8220;in phase&#8221; in the forming area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <strong>vibrating canal system<\/strong> was chosen for piece selection and alignment, through which parts are loaded into a hopper and processed by the vibrating system.<\/p>\n<p>For subsequent heating, we chose a <strong>flat-chain furnace<\/strong>, on which the parts are deposited sorted in two parallel rows. To do this we used a <strong>robot integrated with a dual-camera vision system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As a gripping organ, we designed and built a <strong>device that uses vacuum to pick up the parts<\/strong>, which are later arranged in a fishbone pattern on the hot mat, <strong>ready to enter the 700\u00b0C chamber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The parts are transported inside the furnace: on the way out, a robot equipped again with a <strong>vacuum technology gripping system<\/strong> picks them up on the fly and takes them to the moulding area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus and benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovative implementation of our <strong>technical expertise in heating and anthropomorphic automation<\/strong> in a single line.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Design, testing and industrialization<\/strong> of a solution not yet commercially available, <strong>the vacuum gripping of a part at 700\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Development of an advanced graphics-based virtual work environment<\/strong> that eliminates the need for robot programming and allows <strong>intuitive operator interaction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduced tooling of the machine<\/strong>, which, once the dimensional parameters of the parts and the required production rate are entered, automatically sets itself.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer autonomy<\/strong> in handling simple machine <strong>maintenance tasks<\/strong>, which are rarely needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7619,"menu_order":0,"template":"single-news.php","format":"standard","meta":[],"categorie_news":[359],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Heating and anthropomorphic automation | Di Massa S.r.l. | Warehouse systems<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Design and development of an automatic moulding and cutting line for previously hot moulded brass parts.
