In order to make our company better known, we thought to leave the floor to those who contribute to its growth every day: we interviewed Simone Stefani, a machine tool operator who has been part of the Maestri Forni team since 2017.

Simone, what does your job in Maestri consist of?

Mainly I do turning and milling work, but occasionally I also do carpentry work and assistance for machinery.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The fact that there is no real mass production (although we do have standard machine models) allows me to approach various jobs in a more personal way, feeling like a “protagonist” in the work done and consequently in the success of our customers.

What goals do you have for your future in the company?

To progress in my role within the company is a goal that I consider to be in the first place; then, of course, I would like to live more and more stimulating work experiences, which make me fully understand the company in which I work.

Why do you think a customer should choose Maestri Forni?

Because they would come into contact with a reality that they can trust to meet their needs, obtaining top-quality furnaces and machines and always being able to count on professional assistance.

Have there been any innovations in the company in recent years? If so, how have they changed and improved the working method?

Ours is a company in continuous development, and in recent years it has evolved both in production processes, with the purchase of new milling and welding machines, and in internal logistics, thanks to the installation of an electronic warehouse, which allows for the reduction of space and more efficient cataloging of the material on hand.

What aspects of the company do you think can still be improved?

In my opinion, the introduction of these new logistics systems and, more generally, the development of the company will make it necessary to empower staff in relation to the different roles to be filled, for more effective management of company life.

How do you see the company in five years?

Set on a continuous search for new solutions in the field of molding and beyond, given its potential in the creation of customized furnaces and machinery for every production area.
